INTERNATIONAL NURSE'S DAY CELEBRATION
Theme: Our Nurses. Our Future. The Economic Power of Care.
Shardabai pawar institute of nursing celebrated International Nurses Day with enthusiasm and dedication. The program was well-organized, and the activities were engaging and meaningful. The theme “Our Nurses Our Future. The Economic Power of Care” was aptly highlighted through speeches, audio-visual presentations, and competitions.
Students, faculty, and staff participated actively in the program, making it a memorable event. The competitions, such as poster, rangoli, essay, and calligraphy, were a wonderful way to encourage creativity and engagement with the theme.
The recognition of winners and the distribution of prizes added a nice touch to the celebration. The
Principal’s address was inspiring, emphasizing the crucial role of nurses and the need for lifelong learning. The week-long activities leading up to International Nurses Day were a great way to build up to the celebration.
NUTRITION PRACTICAL
Theme: Methods of cooking and therapeutic diet – Antenatal Diet, Cardiovascular Diet, Intestinal disorder diet, Diet of schooler children, Renal diet, Diabetic Diet.
Nutrition Practical was a good learning experience, in preparing and presenting nutritional plans for specific health conditions. This type of experiential learning is invaluable in helping students understand the importance of diet planning and therapeutic nutrition. All four groups (A, B, C,and D) had different roles and responsibilities and made the practical even more engaging and comprehensive.
From preparation to presentation and display, the students showcased their knowiedge and skills in diet planning. The feedback from the teaching and non-teaching faculty was also encouraging, acknowledging the students’ efforts in diet planning. preparation, and arrangement.
A.V. AIDS EXHIBITION
The Audio-Visual (AV) Aids exhibition organized by the First Year B.sc Nursing students was a resounding success! Students took the initiative to showcase the importance of AV aids in teaching and learning The exhibition was well-organized, with a variety of AV aids on display, including educational videos, slideshows, charts, and models. The students’ hard work and creativity in preparing these aids were evident, and it’s wonderful that they got to share their knowledge with their peers and faculty.
The interactive nature of the exhibition, with teaching staff asking questions and students providing explanations, made it an engaging and enriching experience for all. Students from other semesters attended the exhibition, getting motivated and inspired by the creative displays. It demonstrated the power of visual and audítory learning tools in making education more engaging interactive, and effective.

Shardabai pawar institute of nursing organized the “SRUJAN2024″ staff league from January 3-8, 2024, featuring cricket, volleyball, chess, and badminton events.Shardabai pawar institute of nursing participated in cricket and volleyball as “Nursing warriors” combining teams with GNS College. Although they didn’t win in cricket, they reached the semifinals in volleyball, losing to SPIN Management Team Baramati . The event aimed to promnote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among staff members, with arrangements and experiences deemed smooth and good.
